At its core, permaculture is about relationship. Between people and land. Between resources and responsibility. Between neighbors choosing resilience together.
This Permaculture Salon explores regenerative agriculture, biodynamics, and foundational permaculture principles, and how we can apply them to our landscapes, infrastructure, and daily lives as tools for growth and community alliance.
Featuring ecological designer Jessica Viola on creating landscapes and communities that respond intelligently to fire, flood, drought, and change, alongside Chiara Shannon of Mindful Wine Co., certified sommelier and founder of Ground Star Vineyards, Vir Mccoy Field Biologist with a focus on endangered species and native habitats will speak on the intersections of permaculture and native habitats and Dylan Boeken, founder of Boek House and Husbandry and, sharing insights from the field on soil, stewardship, and living systems in practice.
We’ll touch on:
• Regenerative and biodynamic farming
• Firescaping and erosion control
• Native plant ecology and specimen introductions
• Social permaculture, time banks, and mutual support models
Expect ecology talks, nourishing food, plant conversations, and an open, lively exchange of ideas.
We’ll also host a pop-up with Be Well Malibu, guest shops and vintage finds, plus surprise musical guests, comedy, and more woven throughout the evening.
Come for the knowledge.
Stay for the conversation.
Leave rooted in possibility. 🌿
