Join us for a morning bird walk with ecologist Mark McMillan. We will meet and begin at our Art and Ecology studio and continue to the Malibu Lagoon. There you will be immersed in nature, see some incredible wildlife and learn about the lagoon habitat! This is one of many repeat bird walk events as people love Mark’s presentation and come back for another time and time again!!
Meet your Facilitator
Mark McMillan
Mark is a naturalist, educator and lifelong student of birds based in the Santa Monica Mountains. He teaches at Manzanita School and leads bird walks at Malibu Lagoon. His walks focus on awareness and curiosity, offering a chance not only to identify birds, but to understand their behavior and what they reveal about the world around us
